Is It Worth Your Coin? Dudu Osun African Black Soap
About a month ago I started seeing reviews on Dudu Osun’s African black soap. I seen a fair share of good and bad reviews but I figured I’ll try it for myself, after all nobodies skin reacts the same for every product. I won’t lie I was really skeptical about getting it since I tried the Shea Moisture’s Black soap which broke me out so bad it was ridiculous. I got these terrible breakouts that were so painful and red and I just figured my skin doesn’t like African Black Soap.
After doing my research I realized that the Shea Moisture’s Black soap wasn’t the real deal. Real African Black Soap (ABS) isn’t black at all. It’s a mixture of brown and it’s all natural ingredients in it. That’s when I decided to pick up the Dudu Osun. I went to my local beauty supply store and I picked up a bar for $2.99 so it’s fairly inexpensive. It comes in a green box and when I took it out my initial thought was this looks like a bar of crap. Little did I know this “ Bar of Crap” would actually work.
First use:
When I first used it I noticed that my face felt clean but it was extremely dry and it actually burned. I thought that I had messed my face up. I figured I was doing something wrong which I was so I went to YouTube (of course) and I looked it up to see what I was doin wrong. You’re not supposed to leave it on your face for as long as I did. You only leave it in for 20-30 secs.
After I learned that, I noticed my face was still a little dry but it didn’t burn. The drying can always be fixed with a good ole moisturizer. My acne started disappearing and my dark marks started to fade as well. Overall:
I recommend this product. It’s all natural and it really does as it claims. If you’re looking for a natural soap that is inexpensive and actually works I suggest you pick this up.
