Red Lipstick Tips and Tricks

    When I first started wearing lipstick I was intimidated by red and to be honest I still kind of am. I've always thought that red lipstick was for more older women or movie stars. I thought that they were too bold for me but eventually I started wearing it more and more around the house and it grew on me until I got the confidence to wear it out in public

    With that being said , Rocking a beautiful, bold red lipstick can most definitely be tricky so I am here to help you with your problem. I have put together some tips and tricks to help you pick and wear a rocking red lipstick.

   When finding a red lipstick, make sure that you pick the perfect shade of red for your skin tone. If you have a warm undertone like me, you should gravitate towards reds with that have a more yellow undertone or an orange red. If you have a more cooler undertones you should look for reds with blue undertones or a more pink red. Of course you would look good in any red that you tried so you don't have to follow what I say it's just my opinion

  Red lips are extremely flattering, but they take a bit of effort. Lip liner is the key to a successful look. Us the liner to define your lip shape, then fill in your lips with the liner as a base for your lipstick.. Next, put on your lipstick! My favorite red is #67 Matte Confident by Milani with Indigo lip liner by MK. 

    Blotting your lipstick with tissue will help keep your lipstick from smudging all over the place.Put your thumb between your lips and press. Doing this will keep you lipstick from geeing all over teeth and looking like you have bleeding gums. If you apply your lipstick with an angled brush then you will get a more sharp and dramatic look. Lip stains are a really good option if you want color without the mess of an actual lipstick. Don't play up your eyes! If your going to wear a red lip I suggest that pair it with a simple eye look,
